Microtube Racks with Snaps on Covers
64, 80 and 96 Wells
Fraction Collection Racks * Snap On Covers Allows Secure Stacking * Wide Variety of Colors for Coding * Autoclavable * Withstands Ultra Low Temperatures
The 80 place racks were originally designed for use in fraction collectors, but now are considered "the standard" for use as microtube racks. Ideal for storing 1.5 and 2ml microtubes and screw cap tubes, the addition of new snap on covers increases the versatility of the racks. Each cover easily snaps on and features a recessed area on top, allowing for secure stacking racks one on top of the other.
Two new racks sizes are offered 64 and 96 place wells, reversible for 0.5 and 1.5 to ml tubes. The eighty well racks feature writing areas on the side and bottom and each well is numbered for sample identification. The two new 64 and 96 racks are reversible with 8 x 12 hole configuration for the 96 hole rack and 8 x 8 hole configuration for the 64 hole rack. The 64 hole rack measures 5 1/4 wide 5 3/4 inch long. A writing area is also included. All racks and covers are manufactured of polyproplene, which are autoclavable and will withstand ultra low freezer temperatures. The racks are offered in a wide range of colors while the covers are clear.
